Squire Fox is a commercial and editorial photographer based in New York. His photos have been displayed for world-wide advertising campaigns such as Levi’s, Converse and Target, and editorial covers and features like Vanity Fair, Esquire, Condé Nast Traveller and Rolling Stone. In this episode, we talk about how growing up and moving 17 times in the American south has contributed to the ease in which he connects with everyone he meets, and how that skill allowed people to feel comfortable and have fun in front of the camera. We also talk about how he approaches shooting on set with large teams, adding motion into the mix, and the importance of test shoots.
We've just launched our first season of episodes! First up, we have interviews with Pat Sansone (Wilco), Len Jenshel & Diane Cook (National Geographic), Mark Guiducci (Garage Magazine), Sam Kaplan, Maggie Shannon, Squire Fox, Alex Crawford, Sully Sullivan, and Josh Wool. Many more to come, so check back every week for new episodes.
